This week’s guest is Irene Marques. Irene is a writer, poet, scholar and educator. She believes in the power of literature and creative language to allow us to broaden our sense of self, others and otherness (the non-human) giving us a more fulfilling existential experience. We discussed Irene’s novel Daria. Daria is a cerebral novel about Portuguese identity, family, immigration, displacement, and remembering. It was published by Inanna Publications.
