More About Janet

With small town settings and big world themes, Janet Trull’s short story collections and novels examine relationships during times of social and cultural change. She is inspired by rough landscapes that shape a resilient national identity. Her characters celebrate the struggle as they travel the unpaved, unplowed, and unpopular backroads of Canada.

More About Canadian Saint

Author Cynthia Scott heads across Canada seeking real-life versions of Danny Anderson, the protagonist in her latest novel. Readers love his redemption story. Book reviewers elevate him to literary sainthood. Only Faye, Cynthia’s life-long friend, deciphers the dark secrets hidden between the lines. The revelations compel her to take a fresh look at their complicity in a shared childhood tragedy. Different memories of the same events challenge their friendship until finally they agree on one thing. Forty years ago, somebody got away with murder.
